I read the story behind the dove with the olive branch in its mouth. So Noah had all those animals on the ark, after the rains had subsided Noah opened his window and looked out to see if the ground was dry from all the flood. Noah sent a dove out but the dove had no where to land and flew back to the ark. So after a while Noah sent the dove out again to check if the ground was dry and the dove came back with an olive branch signifying the earth was dry and God said to Noah to release all the animals from the ark.
