There several things that cause me to remember the good old days. Not worrying about where the next meal was coming from, paying no mind to the cost of things, clothes, fuel. Working to have spending cash not bill money. As a kid we never worried about Christmas gifts, because we were receiving not buying.
There are somethings from the past that cause me to be glad the good old days are gone. Lots of the hard knocks from my younger life have made me the man I am and I am grateful for that.
